In creative and technical environments, ideas often start on paper. But notebooks are messy, hard to navigate, and easy to forget. We wanted to build a tool that would bridge the gap between analog thinking and digital action, something that could capture inspiration and turn it into something useful and accessible.
We created Mr. Libreto, an internal project at Doers DF powered by artificial intelligence. The platform allows users to photograph pages from their physical notebooks, which are then automatically transcribed, tagged, and stored online. From there, the system suggests smart actions based on the content, such as to-dos, summaries, reminders, or creative prompts, to help bring handwritten thoughts to life.

The app was built using Laravel, React, Inertia.js TailwindCSS, and the ChatGPT API, combining a clean front-end experience with powerful AI-driven capabilities behind the scenes.

The beta version of Mr. Libreto is already live and accessible online, allowing the team at Doers DF to upload and organize all our handwritten notes in a smart, intuitive way. We'll soon print the first batch of physical notebooks designed to work seamlessly with the platform. Drop us a line if you are curious and would like to try it out.
